Most people think that dieting either works for them, or it doesn’t.
Like they were just dealt a bad hand. Wrong metabolism. Wrong genetics. Wrong life circumstances.
But what if it’s not you that’s the problem?
If you’ve tried dieting and going to the gym multiple times but haven’t seen any real change, I want you to give this a try.
Picture yourself five years from now.
Still saying I don’t have time to eat healthy.
Still saying the gym just doesn’t fit my schedule.
Still saying something always comes up.
If nothing changes, nothing changes. And deep down, you already know that.
The frustrating part isn’t that you don’t know what to do, you probably know exactly what to do.
The frustrating part is that knowing hasn’t been enough.
One slip up happens, and instead of getting back on track the next day, it snowballs.
Before you know it, weeks have gone by and you’re starting over from zero again.
So what’s actually getting in the way?
I spoke with a guy a few months ago who had tried losing weight more times than he could count.
Not because he wanted to look good on the beach. He wanted to show his kids that no matter what life throws at you, you can make a decision and follow through on it.
That’s the kind of father he wanted to be.
He knew what to eat.
He knew he needed to be more active.
The knowledge wasn’t the issue.
What Kevin didn’t have was anyone in his corner.
His wife wasn’t against him losing weight, she just wasn’t willing to change the family’s routines around it.
No modified Friday dinner.
No adjusting the grocery list.
And without any real support structure, every small obstacle felt like a full stop.
This is something we see more often than you’d think.
And it doesn’t mean the people in your life don’t love you or want good things for you.
It just means their priorities and yours aren’t lined up on this one thing, and that gap is enough to derail the whole effort.
Here’s what changes when you have even one person genuinely in your corner:
Instead of negotiating with yourself that one cheat meal won’t matter, someone else knows what you’re working toward, and they help you hold the line you set for yourself.
Instead of willpower alone keeping your environment in check, the people around you start to respect the changes you’re making.
And instead of only having yourself to stay motivated for, you’ve got people rooting for you.
It’s a lot harder to let down someone you care about than it is to let down yourself.
That’s enough to be a real game changer!
Now, I know what some of you are thinking. Because I have had this though many times myself…
What if I tell people I’m going to lose weight and I don’t? That’s embarrassing.
It’s a real concern, and I don’t want to brush past it.
Putting your personal credibility on the line in front of people who know you can feel like a lot of pressure.
Which is exactly why I want to tell you about something that removes that risk entirely.
We have a free Facebook group where you can get real support from people going through the exact same thing you are, and from me and the coaches at TENRA!
All without having to put yourself on the line in front of your coworkers, your family, or anyone in your personal life.
It’s a small group, which means you’re not just another face in a feed.
Coaches actually answer questions.
And you can start building momentum on your health journey with people who want you to win, even before the people closest to you fully understand what you’re going after.
No one should have to do this alone. And with this group, you don’t have to.
